HOW DOES THIS AFFECT PATIENTS

As per AHS, patient hand sanitizing will be required. If a patient needs accompaniment please limit that to one other person and if possible please accompany the patient only to the door.  We book patients with at least 20 minutes between the end of an appointment and the beginning of the next appointment in order to maintain the distancing standards during this pandemic.

If a situation does arise that multiple patients are in the clinic, we have 3 separate waiting rooms through 2 separate entrances in order to maintain proper distancing. All reception areas – chairs, doorknobs, etc are sanitized after each patient leaves. As per COVID-19 protocols, treatment surfaces are sanitized and all equipment, instruments are sterilized and/or disposed. Our dental team is equipped with the appropriate PPE’s including face shields, masks and protective gowns.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD

With the Government of Alberta’s new plan of reopening the economy we are open, but not able to provide all dental services yet. Once we ensure that we are properly and safely set up we will be glad to see all of you back at the office. We thank you in advance and extend our gratitude for your ongoing loyalty and trust in our practice. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the clinic at 780-484-7659.
